Retail & Event Associate (Part-time)

The Swim Team Store | Wheeling, IL (United States)

Job Description:

The Swim Team Store / All American Swim is a leader in the competitive swim industry. We are part of the swim team / retail division of The Lifeguard Store. We are currently looking for a few part time retail & event associates to work at our pop up shops at swim meets in the Chicagoland areas (including Chicago & suburbs) on the weekends. Some weekday hours may also be available in our Wheeling store.

If you’re energetic, outgoing, and especially a morning person, this is a great job for you! You’ll be setting up our store by merchandising displays, setting up the signage for promos, and selling our merchandise to families at the swim meets. Great job for stay at home parents, college students and someone looking for a 2nd job on the weekend!

Requirements:

  • Customer service / retail experience
  • Friendly, outgoing, and sociable personality
  • Basic computer skills - POS experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, and make decisions as needed
  • Reliable transportation to drive to swim meets in Chicago and suburbs
  • Must be available on weekends, as early as 5:30 am
  • Able to move and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for an extended amount of time

Internet Sales / Ecommerce

Sales | Normal, IL (United States)

Seeking an E-Commerce Specialist to work within our Sales Department in our Normal, IL Corporate Location. We are interested in expanding our online sales with new and existing product lines. This position benefits most with someone with strong analytical skills that can also handle customer relations and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, Listing, and Updating product lines on selling platforms.
  • Monitor tracking data through selling platform tools and identify ways to optimize listings to increase sales
  • Communicating sales performance with our team, working with our purchasing department to maintain store inventory
  • Ensure brand equity on all of our sales platforms (follow-up emails, review requests, return procedures)
  • Oversee fulfillment of product sales

Desired Qualities:

  • 2+ years of digital marketing / e-commerce experience preferred
  • • Familiarity with Amazon’s platforms (Amazon Media Group and Amazon Marketing Services) preferred
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills

Data Entry Specialist (Part-time)

On-site and internet data entry to manage effectively large amounts of information. The target is to insert, update, and maintain accurate data with several systems. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.

Responsibilities:

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files / database systems.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Updating existing data.
  • Retrieve data from electronic sources as required.
  • Sort and organize paperwork and files after entering data.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
